About Us

After graduating from North Carolina State University with a degree in Business Management, David went on to Law School at Campbell University. While working on his law degree, David represented his fellow students on the Student Bar Association, wrote Case Summaries of recently decided Appellate cases for the Campbell Law Observer, and was on the winning team for the law school's Intramural Client Counseling Competition.

During law school, David also clerked for the North Carolina Attorney General's Office and interned with a small general practice firm. He logged countless courtroom hours during this time learning from attorneys. These positions allowed David to gain invaluable experience in criminal matters and litigation, as well as client relations.

In 2006, David decided to open his own firm in Raleigh, where he lives with his wife. Since then, he has built his criminal practice through dedication to his clients and diligent work to protect their rights and interests. He spends his days at the Wake County Courthouse representing clients in criminal matters and meets with clients in the afternoons and early evenings. His assistant, Shannon, is available during the day to coordinate meetings and help to answer clients questions about their cases. Feel free to contact either of us at the office during regular business hours, or by email at any time. We both will do whatever we can to help you whatever legal issues you have.

David is a member of the following associations:

  • North Carolina Bar Association
  • North Carolina Advocates for Justice (formerly North Carolina Academy of Trial Lawyers)
  • Wake County Bar

David has received the same training in the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration's (NHTSA) Standardized Field Sobriety Tests as North Carolina Law Enforcement.
